About us
The Imaginist began back in early 2021 as a weekly newsletter, founded our by editor Elle, and later joined by our co-editor Milla. Elle and Milla met while studying English Literature at the University of Leeds, and like all creatives, found themselves musing over books, music and their over-active imaginations between Renaissance lectures.
In the midst of 'lockdown blues', The Imaginist became a space for writers and creatives alike to express their creativity and indulge in imagination in a time where we so desperately needed it.
Flash-forward over a year later and we have 'The Imaginist Zine', a monthly digital zine, podcast, and online community, consisting of over 20 feature-writers and team members, whilst also accepting pitches and pieces from writers and creators across the globe.
